Our Cooperation Partners

Much is possible with strong partners

The ITZ Plus was awarded as „flagship project“ within the federal contest „RegioWIN 2013 - 2020“ . On the initiative of the Schwabenbund, the University of Applied Sciences Biberach developped and submitted the concept together with the City of Biberach, the District of Biberach as well as the Ulm Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

Through this award, the City of Biberach, being the owner of the building and biggest investor of the project, receives financial support from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

The ITZ Plus Biberach GmbH was founded to take over operational business.

All our common activities are geared towards strengthening the economic power of the region. Together we want to maintain the prosperity of the  Biberach-Oberschwaben area. With this mutual goal in mind, we have established a collaborative partnership that leads to ideal framework conditions for further dynamic growth. We would like to give special thanks for this to all our partners for their helpful support.

Biberach an der Riß

The Biberach region is an attractive location with numerous nationally and internationally successful companies. In Europe, it holds a top position as far as innovative capability, economic performance as well as economic growth are concerned.

There are many reasons for this. In fact, Biberach has mainly rural structures, nevertheless, it has good infrastructural connections by virtue of being close to the A7 and B30 as well as the forthcoming extension of the B312 leading from west to east. This is also a benefit for the surrounding companies, lots of them are family-run, internationally operating and leading in their own fields.

At the same time, the region belongs to the recreation area Donau-Iller. Due to the proximity to the Lake of Constance and the Allgäu, it offers a range of leisure activities for recreation-seekers, nature-lovers and active sports enthusiasts. Events with live music such as the „Biberacher Musikfrühling“ and the music night in Biberach as well the the „Schützenfest“ attract thousends of visitors every year. The „Biberacher Filmfestspiele“ are very popular, too
